Mushrooming (Roblox) — Codes, Mushroom List & Perfect Cut

Mushrooming is a Roblox foraging game set in Whisperwood: pick mushrooms, land a clean cut, wash off the dirt, sell, then spend the coins on a better knife. This site keeps the numbers — every mushroom with its price, the five cut grades, the mutation multipliers and the gear ladder.

Enter the base price the game shows, then the age, cut, dirt and mutation. You get the sale price and the one fix worth doing first.

In game: the price on the card in your basket.

In game: the age word on the mushroom card — Young, Fresh, Old or Rotten.

In game: the grade you get after knifing it, from Pristine down to Mangled.

In game: the dirt word on the card after you pick it; a wash basin turns muddy into washed.

In game: the mutation name shown over the mushroom when you pick it, and kept on the card.

Fix first: Pristine cut — $6.50 instead of $5.00 (adds $1.50).

Codes right now

All codes and how to redeem them

Six codes work as of 7 November 2026, and every one of them is a timed 2x boost.

  • ROOTWAYS

    2x Coins, 20 minutes

Best coin code on the list right now.

  • FOUNDERS

    2x XP, 15 minutes

Pair it with the rarest mushroom your knife can cut.

  • GLOAMWOOD

    2x Coins, 15 minutes

    Second-longest coin boost.

Core loop

One trip through Whisperwood

Every coin in this game comes from the same four moves, and each one multiplies the last.

  1. Pick it at the right age

A mushroom is Fresh for most of its six to twelve minutes on the ground, worth 1.25x. Wait too long and it is Old at 0.65x or Rotten at 0.3x.

    Which kinds grow where
  2. Land the cut

Click while the marker is in the gold zone. Every cut in the gold is Pristine, worth 1.3x; hacking it off is Mangled at 0.35x.

    Cut grades explained
  3. Wash off the dirt

Dusty mushrooms sell at 0.85x and muddy ones at 0.6x. The basin by the well turns either into washed, which sells at 1.05x.

  4. Sell and upgrade

The Merchant pays for the whole basket. Coins go back into a bigger sack, then a knife that can cut the next rarity up.

You are holding one mushroom and wondering what it is worth

You picked something you have never seen and the sale price looks wrong.

Same mushroom, worst to best
A $4 Button Mushroom runs from about $0.36 to about $54.60 depending on age, cut, dirt and mutation.

One kind refuses to show up

Second buy
Pocket Knife, $300 at level 3

The spending order

You want to know when the next area opens

You are grinding toward Gloamwood or The Rootways and want a date, not a number.

Level 45 to Gloamwood
Enter your level and your XP per hour; the planner shows the hours left.
Level 60 to The Rootways
The last stretch from 84 to 85 alone costs 34,644 XP.
Plan the climb

A mushroom is glowing and you want to know what that is

It looks different from the others and you suspect the price is not a coincidence.

One mutation only
A mushroom never carries two, so the ceiling is 8x from Prismatic or Spectral.
Weather ones wear off
Soaked, Misty and Dewy vanish when the weather changes; pick while it lasts.

Knife ladder: what your knife can actually cut

A knife is not a damage upgrade. It decides the highest rarity you are allowed to cut, and XP comes from rarity, so the knife is your XP rate.

Where the kinds actually live

Nine foraging areas hold the 189 logged kinds, and each one has its own gate. Rarity decides the knife; the area decides whether the mushroom is even there.

Updates

What changed in Whisperwood

Two areas landed in the last two weeks of updates, and one seasonal event closed.

All dated changes
  1. The Rootways opened

A level 60 underworld under Fernhollow, with 34 kinds of mushroom, Rootbound kinds that only a Rootways knife can take, and the Murmuring mutation.

    The Rootways guide
  2. Lantern Wake ended

Three Halloween codes stopped working and the Peddler's candy stock closed with the event.

    Which codes still work
  3. Gloamwood opened

44 kinds, two new rarities and a level cap raise to 85, which moved the endgame knife ladder up to level 70.

Walkthrough

The first three hours, in order

New players lose coins in the same three places: an empty basket, a bad cut and an early knife. This is the order that avoids all three.

All five guides
  1. Fill a basket before you buy anything

Birch Meadow, twelve slots, Common and Uncommon kinds. Sell the lot, then buy the Canvas Sack.

    The first-hour walkthrough
  2. Make the second trip pay

With 25 slots, a washed basket of Rare kinds pays for the Pocket Knife, and the knife unlocks the next rarity band.

Coins per hour and what multiplies them
  3. Know what the next level buys

Level 20 opens the road up Azure Peak and level 45 opens Gloamwood; the XP each step costs is fixed and published.

    XP table and unlock levels
  4. Take the quests as they come

Pip's village chain runs nineteen quests and pays coins and XP alongside your foraging, so it is not a detour.

Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to spend Robux to progress in Mushrooming?

No. Everything in the Robux shop is convenience: selling from anywhere, doubling XP, coin packs and speed tonics. The game has no passes and no badges; the shop items are separate purchases.

Why does the same mushroom sell for different prices?

Price is the base price multiplied by age, cut grade, dirt and mutation. A Fresh, Pristine, washed mushroom sells for about 1.7x its base; a Rotten, Mangled, muddy one for about 0.06x.

When were these codes last checked?

7 November 2026. Every code on the codes page carries the date it was checked, so you can see how old the list is before you type anything.
